Would be nice to have a utility to dump product detail listings to EBAY listings with the pictures linked back to KHCX ........
Any plans for this Nick ?

This is one most of us could use. Whatever anyone may think of eBay we cannot ignore it.

Interesting why Nick built this functionality directly into 5.1 but left it out of 6? I remember a "Generate eBay Listing" button in Tiki...

I posted this on the forum for new ideas for CCP 6 - we need a checkout system so customers who buy on eBay go through the CCP 6 checkout. It would probably have to use the eBay API. User buys item - details are (somehow via the eBay API) got to CCP - email is sent to the customer who clicks on link and is in the checkout of CCP with the details of product and postage derived from eBay. Customer then has chance to buy OTHER items from CCP store.
This was been done by others (at least I believe with OS-Commerce)
Having a mod like this would allow customers who buy on eBay to get comfortable with buying on your website. eBay powersellers are trying hard with last years eBay fee rises to get as much product of eBay as possible. There is much talk on power seller forums on setting up websites, and getting product sold off eBay. ebay powersellers selling product out of their eBay stores pay a 10% final value fee - a great incentive to sell elsewhere.

There are plans for a full blown eBay integrated app for the KHXC that ties into CCP. Currently you can use the remote product add to cart API for eBay checkout if you like. The application which may be finished in 2007 will contain a full integration with the API allowing listing, payment, etc. It's development will follow that of the batch shipping / advanced order management app.
