Coming in a few weeks will be the option to automate CCP for:
* Pre-fill all address information for shipments, eliminating time-consuming copy and paste. One click labels!
* Connects directly to each supported shipping provider (USPS, UPS, FedEx, Stamps.com, Endicia), providing a fast, seamless label printing with no manual exports.
* Saves the tracking number for every processed shipment.
* Track shipments in real-time in response to customer inquiries.
* Send emails with tracking information in one click.
* Email tracking numbers automatically as each shipment is processed using automated tasks.
* Once label prints, module will update the online status of an order automatically to CCP. Will send back one or more of the tracking numbers, shipping method, cost, and payment status of each order.
* Maintains a comprehensive list of your customers based on all orders in the system. Quickly see which customers have the most orders, have spent the most money, and all email and shipments sent to any customer. Customers are easily searchable and easily organized using filters.
Interested? I'm looking for 10 others than want this same reality. We are integrating CCP into a product called ShipWorks (http://www.shipworks.com). If you sell on eBay or Amazon and have CCP - this will manage MULTIPLE STORE orders in a single location. It will be integrated in CCP to allow you to automate your entire order management, customer communication, and shipment processing. It's fantastic.
I've been using CCP since 2001 and this is the holy grail as far as I'm concerned. I've owned nearly every ATS mod and every release of CCP. This is everything I've ever wanted CCP to do - and the fact that it includes my eBay orders is gravy. I've been using for several weeks and it's been a breeze to use/customize.

It seems to be PC only (no Mac version). I would love to use all these features and functions, but from within CCP and not from a 3rd party. Their pricing keeps you locked into a recurring billing cycle each month. I would prefer a one time charge for a module.

Yes - that would be nice to have within CCP, but realistically.. it's never going to happen. It will never have additional 'store' integration (eBay, Amazon, etc.). As retail becomes more fragmented with channels and we want our products on Google, Yahoo, eBay, Amazon, and others - there needs to be a third party app. that integrates and plays nice with all stores, shipping, and payment options.
It's not realistic to think CCP will be capable of doing this on a non-reoccuring service. It appears that Nick has spoiled us all for many years and we need to get out of the mindset that all CCP applications/bolt-on's should not have a MRR. Keeping the API's working/updated with web stores/carts and all shipping services is not a one-time job (unless you don't mind that it stop working when one of the integration partners changes their API and the whole thing goes up in smoke - not me, I want it working non-stop and when it breaks, I want someone fixing it).
I will gladly pay the small monthly charge (it's not a locked-in charge.. you can cancel at any time. No term agreements) .
It would increase our shipping productivity by 4x and unmeasurable customer sat. levels.
