Dynamic Part Numbers based on Product Options

Quick question:  My client is getting ready to add products that will have multiple options.  In his inventory, each option adds a suffix to each part number.  Sorta like this:

Blue widget - WID375464-B
Red widget -  WID375464-R
Blue widget with green stripe - WID375464-B-GS
Red widget with green stripe -  WID375464-R-GS

Can this be done in CCP6 with a little tweaking, or is this something I'd need to request a custom mod for?

Thanks!

This would require custom work.  Man, you are keeping us busy...

LOL!  I'm a bad girl!  wink  But seriously, blame my client.  He's growing like gangbusters and wants everything streamlined from the bottom up.  I can't keep up with him myself, he's got soo many new ideas he wants to implement.

Absolutely.  Not only is he a good client, he's the best client I ever had.  The guy's brilliant, yet he's always open to other's ideas and suggestions.  And, best of all, he always pays on time.  smile
