my product images are not showing up. I uploaded useing the file manager and checked to make sure that the image is where it is supposed to be and it is. However when I add the image name in my product catalog and view the store the descriptions are there but not the image. Any help would be appreciated.
are you getting the default "no image" or just the dreaded red "x" . If you are getting the red "x" it is usually because the file is not named exactly to the image file name you entered in the product description . Beware some FTP programs will rename your images by capitalizing the file extension when you upload , the other reason is because the file cannot be found at the location specified . Another popular reason is that your internet provider is "cache-ing" your pages and not giving you the updated page . The easiest way to determine what is going on is to pull up the page in IE explorer and then view the source code of the page , find the IMG SRC tag for the image in question and copy the path . Then paste the path in your browser address window and see if the image comes up . If it does come up then your problem is either with your internet provider cache-ing your pages or your browser is not set to refresh the pages on every visit .
