Installation

I have already installed the program - and had to use the existing cgi-bin folder. I moved the the entire contents of the ccp51 cgi into my existing, first creating the ccp51 folder, then opinted the cgi scripts to that folder. I'm getting an internal server error.

I then went to remove the entire installation and redo it from scratch, but it won't let me delete the files. HELP

Re: Installation

Sounds like a permissions issue ? Have you checked all your permissions are set exactly to the software requirements ? Also ( I did this myself) did you install using telnet or SSH ? If so did you do it as "root" ? if you did you will need to "chown" all files and directories to the actual account owner name too .

If you uploaded via FTP did you make sure you used ascii upload on the script files ? This cold give you the same issue . You can also look in your server error log for some clues as to what is going wrong to help find the answer to correct it . Be patient , I know its frustrating but the software does work , 100% of the time it is an issue created by making a slight mistake in your installation .

Re: Installation

Also, do not move the entire contents of the ccp51 folder into the cgi-bin, just the ccp51/cgi-bin folder.  You need to leave the rest outside of the cgi-bin on most servers.
