putting the affiliates section in different folder?

Hey,

I want to put the affiliate section in a different folder on my server, protected by a password.

Is it possible? and if so, what should I change?

Thanks

certainly this is possible but it would be a nightmare to try and tie everything back to the ccp51 support files ? Forgive me for asking but why would you want to do it ? I'm setting up the affilaite program myself and don't see the benefit of moving it ?

Re: putting the affiliates section in different folder?

You could give the illusion of doing this by following these steps:

(1) Change all of the links to the affiliate page in your site layout to point to an HTML page in a password protected directory.

(2) Modify the HTML page in that password protected directory to meta-refesh back to the affiliate page in tiki.

Technically a user could access the page without entering a password by modifying the URL in their address bar, but that would require them to know enough to do that.
