After finding a detailed product description page through an exsisting site search, when I copy the address of that specific page in my browser window into a newly created link in Dreamweaver on the homepage, instead of taking me to the detailed product description the updated homepage link takes me to an empty shopping cart page. Any suggestions of how to get from the homepage link directly to the specific page I need to purchase?

my original question posted as of 12/5 was never answered. Any help please?

Hey Ed, thanks for the reply. I could really use some suggestions.
This is the URL that I took from an exsisting site search on a product's shopping cart. I used this as a link in Dreamweaver to try to get from the client's homepage directly to the shopping cart page for that product. No luck, just a page listing "Your shopping Cart is Empty"
Thank you!

Not trying to jump in on you gulden, but that link takes me to the detail page of one 18114 - counter hand sanitizer. Maybe I don't understand the problem, but thought I would let you know what I encountered.

Same here.... could you post the url you're using as text (not a link)? Looks as though you might have pasted usr, etc.
I seemed to be able to use the "insert hyperlink" command instead of the link source line in Dreamweaver to fix the URL problem. Your reply that the link I sent you worked was a clue to try to link differently. I wonder if Dreamweaver saw the link as a site related one, but because ClickCart holds the products seperate in a cgi bin not with my site, couldn't find it and defaulted to the wrong page? Thanks again for your replies. Any clue to an e-commerce program that works better than clickcart with Dreamweaver?
