I upgraded CCP to support PayPal Pro last week, got everything up and running well. Several sales went through fine and and then everything stopped on 09/12. I haven't made any changes to CCP since the upgrade. My host hasn't responded yet (just found out this morning), so I thought I'd ask if anyone has seen this error and any ideas on what may fix it:
Script Execution Error The following error was returned: There was a problem retrieving a response from the cURL executable. The executable was found, however it does not appear to be working properly.
It was working, so what made it stop?! Thanks.

Hmm, not sure what happened, but I know when I got that message, I told my server about it and they fixed it on their end.
Good luck,
Jess

I just got a response from my web hosting service. They said cURL "has been disabled on our servers due to some security reasons." Makes me wonder why the store worked for three days following the upgrade and then stopped. Why did they disable it without telling anyone.
They did tell me cURL is still supported in PHP and that I'm welcome to change my program to make use of that library. Yeah - right.
Anyone have any good hosts? This company used to be awesome but have really let me down in the support department the last few months...

I support cURL on all my servers if you are interested. Did they give you a reason why it became a security issue? I've never heard of anything like that!

I'm trying to get a reason out of them. It worked from September 6th through the 11th. Then apparently became a security concern on the 12th. Their own support forums have a discussion about cURL and that it is an officially supported module.
I spoke via live chat with a techie tonight who said he's going to escalate to his manager and get it enabled again if he can. If not, c-ya!

When I has this error it turned out to be the API certificate which when copied to the server by FTP has acquired two blank lines. Suggest you look at your API certificate (Paypal.txt) just in case there is some corruption.
