Is there a way to empty the whole shopping cart at once instead of deleting items in the cart one-by-one? I would like to have an 'empty cart' button that would empty everything in the cart. I searched the whole forum and could not find a solution to this. Any suggestions? Thanks.

Is this a difficult mod to do or do I have to pay someone to get some service? You guys have a great shopping cart program but it would be nice to get questions answered promptly within 24 hours or less. Thanks!!!

Hi

I don't mean to be rude, but why on earth would you want someone to empty their cart in one go? .. perhaps that is the reason why no-one is offering any advice here as you have not quite explained your point.

Could you please elaborate.

To add to what Steven has said, this is a user supported forum unless we are lucky enough to have Nick drop by and answer some posts. He does try to stop by at least once a week. You just happened to be unlucky enough to have posted on one of his days that he is not available. If you want have your questions answered for certain within 24 hours, you may need to use paid support for this or hire one of the certified members of this forum as a consultant.

TerryA, I apologize for misunderstanding about this as I will try to get a paid consultant to help me with this mod. For Steven, why not empty the cart in one go? I've seen on many e-commerce shopping cart websites that allow the customer to empty the whole cart at once. This is very convenient, especially for customers that have many items in the cart and they want to start all over. This feature is not uncommon.

Hi Ashdog,

That wouldn't be very difficult to do. Just add a button into the cart footer elements that calls a script. That script would simply delete any mention of cart for that userid.

I'll look into it tonight for you.
