Email Button In Customer Invoice Needed

Has anyone figured out how to place an EMAIL button on the page where we view the orders?
Then, the customer's email address is automatically filled in and the order info in the message body. The message body can be modified, of course, for the issue.

This would streamline our busy store when we reply to customer that their order shipped, is canceled, etc.

If this mod is not easy, then please provide a quote to do this for v5.0.

Thank you.

Re: Email Button In Customer Invoice Needed

This feature is already built into v5.1.  Perhaps you could check into upgrading from 5.0 to 5.1.  It would most likely be cheaper then having someone write a mod for you.

Re: Email Button In Customer Invoice Needed

Hi,

I just upgraded and this is not quite complete. My client needs more that just sending the pre-determined messages.

(1) They would like to be able to modify/personalize the email. Working with a starting template would be fine, but to be able to modify it is critical.

(2) How do they keep a copy of (document) the emails that we sent? This is critical in case they need the communique in the future.

Any suggestions and quotes are welcome.
