New Zuma Suggestions * Here *

I was wondering if it were possible to place a medium layer box on the lower-right of the confirmation bill for companys who requires to stamp their orders.

Re: New Zuma Suggestions * Here *

For the Modules Section

The page that gives you the option to Install, Upgrade, or Delete the Modules that you have a Verison Number Displayed for the Modules that are Installed!  If the modules are not installed it shouldn't have a verison number.  That way you will know what modules you have installed and what verison number they are.  This will make support issues easier.

No . . . this is not what I asked at all. What I asked is if it were possible to add a medium layer box on the lower right of the confirmation bill to that CCP users would be able to stamp "in the box" like a regular confirmation bill.

Re: New Zuma Suggestions * Here *

Another Suggestion
Have a Sales Report Module (Totals Module)

You could select a Date Range from January 01, 2003 to December 31, 2003 and see all the totals for your subtotals, taxes(state and country), dicount totals, sales totals, Net Totals, Gross Totals, etc.

Then you can download that report you ran into an excel doc, CSV file, word doc, etc if you wanted to.

Re: New Zuma Suggestions * Here *

Yes, I have also considered that option. This could easily be done by Javascript but the only problem is that the date functions must also apply in the confirm bill and, for now, it isn't.

Re: New Zuma Suggestions * Here *

It could pull data from the tracking.csv and trackitem.csv files.  Then put it into a table.  I actually added a datestamp to one of those files(can't remember which one it was) in the format of 20030127(other coding involved as well to get the date inserted into the file) so that I could do queries on it once I converted the files to mysql.  I use PHP to connect to mysql and run a set of queries with a date range.

Re: New Zuma Suggestions * Here *

Another general suggestion :

"License agreement" as fast as possible since each CCP users aren't protected, politicly speaking, if the customer complains about a " No license agreement " in the checkout form. Yesterday, I had a customer so mad and frustrated for " non-understanding the checkout form method ", I thought I was going to get sued.

This option should be checked " right on top " of the payment method and as long as the customer doesn't check the box, the submission shall not be done for our own protection.

Re: New Zuma Suggestions * Here *

I'd like to see the ability to rotate products through related items automatically, perhaps by allowing the selecting of a category for a products related items and let it cycle through however many products you choose to display automatically.

I'd also like a module to allow you to do a similar thing, perhaps selecting the "new items" area would allow you to cycle through a given number of new items to be displayed on your static home page by pasting code into your home page html and have it search your mysql database and rotate through products each time the home page is refreshed.

Re: New Zuma Suggestions * Here *

Another 2 suggestions.

I'd be interesting to have different kinds of currency options in the : manage products link and we could also choose with a single selection list (SELECT-CUSTOM) for which country currency we'd like to put on x product and that country selection could be related in the orders & payments option and each country could still be used as "required" or "not required" so that customers won't have to make an invalid selection if x company doesn't do business with x country (a security MOD if you want).

One of my clients is related with  and he'd like to use a gaming board at the same time as he runs the store so that, when customers clicks on a name, it recognizes the  the same way as Nick did for the : "Click here to see a printable version" link. Also, this option could be modified from the administrative section in the : Manage Dynamic Forms.

Oh ! and from my 2nd suggestion, I think it'd be a good idea to add an e-mail-a-friend link below the page once the user's being transferred.

</center>

Most of restaurants are giving the possibility to their customers to make reservations. This process is, of course, available online sometimes.

That said, I was wondering if it were possible to add, on top of the checkout form, a single selection list (SELECT-CUSTOM in CSV) by choosing from the following :

Mr / Ms
- Mr
- Ms

Then, this option has to appear in the confirmation bill as well.

Re: New Zuma Suggestions * Here *

* 3 more suggestions *

1 : Would it be possible to add a web gallery, similar to imagefolio company ?

2 : Since the FTP, and web panel, are no longer a priority usage for CCP users, would it be possible to make 10-20 times (if not more) the same options for uploads under : Main menu : File upload so that we won't have to upload a single file at the time with only a single selection list ?

3 : Would it be possible to create an admin page like this : Manage gift certificates, coupons, discounts and  under the orders & payments ?

Correction for .

Not only a Mr / Ms but a date and time just before the shipping form question.

Here's a MOD you can use for the date :

As for the time, well . . . if there's a similar window that exist for it cool ! but, from my knowledge, how hard can it be to type a time ? ! smile

Re: New Zuma Suggestions * Here *

1.  I'd like to see a way to enter an order in the system for a customer but be able to edit the prices for a price match for example.  Perhaps it could be on the back end in the admin or on the front end with a user name and password. Basically you would checkout like normal but would be able to have the option to "type over" the listed price replacing it with any price of your choice. (again this would be for the administrator not for the customer obviously)

2.  I would also like to see a way to repeat orders for a returning customer by selecting the customer's previous order in the Manage Online Orders and be able to resubmit it with the option also of changing the shopping cart contents.

3.  I would like to be able to add multiple items to the shopping cart at one time.

Re: New Zuma Suggestions * Here *

Here are my requests:

1) Ability to have Real-time shipping costs displayed as soon as the customer adds an item to the cart, in addition to displaying it in the checkout process of course.  I think this is important since shipping costs is one the main reasons a customer will or will not order from a site.  Having it right there as they are shopping will alleviate any concerns regarding shipping.

2) A wishlist for customers to be able to add specific items.

3) A review module which will allow customers to post reviews on specific products they have ordered.

I'm sure I'll have more as they come up.

Re: New Zuma Suggestions * Here *

i think there should be a more organized way of editing products and categories in the admin section. Rather then just having all everything displayed in sequence can we display it by category - subcategory - product. and be able to edit anything along the way in the tree.

the reason for this is that say i have 3000 categories and subcats combined and 10,000 products. but i really don't know where the subs are located. it would be easier to do things if they are listed in logical progression of the way the store is layed out.

Re: New Zuma Suggestions * Here *

One thing I have seen with some of my customers lately is a need for an RFQ module, the ability to display products and have an area on that page where custoemrs can email you for a custom quote, it would also be nice if the backend of ccp could handle or manage those request somhow. I have not thought about how that might or could be done. Maybe other users have experience with that type of RFQ system.

This might actually be more of a product display type depending if there is any back-end management for this or not.

The last few days I was looking for a Tree Menu Program.  I found one that is written in JavaScript.  It is really easy to edit if you want to manualy.

Here is the link to the program:

I think that this could be incorperated into CCP easily but I am not sure.  I don't know how the menus in CCP admin are being referenced exactly.  Like the JavaScript part of it.  I would like to use it with CCP51 if I can.  I don't want to change the access rules for the different menus for the logins I just want to change the menu to a different one.

Re: New Zuma Suggestions * Here *

when i said tree i was more talking about in the admin sectioin when you go to edit your products or ad products instead of have a screen full of items you would see your categories. you would click on the link and it would now display all your product and subs of that category. you can now click on the sub link and the same thing will happen. .X-cart has this method and i do like it. you can also add a product at anytime and change it category buy using a pull down bar.

this method is only better when you have a very large number of prod and categories. as in my other post it is mostly just for a better way to see how your store product tree is layed out.
sorry if i was confusing on my posts

Re: New Zuma Suggestions * Here *

In the admin panel, we should be able to set our category & products by priorities.

For i.e, you set the following IDs :

5
6
3
4
7
2
1

With a "move up" link, it could return to normal (which you already know) :

1
2
3
4
5
6
7

(Like the BIOS to be precise).

Re: New Zuma Suggestions * Here *

Hi Everyone,

Long time listener, first time caller...

I've recently come from a different cart software package that had a couple features that I enjoyed but don't exist in ClickCart...bugging Nick for mod requests  wink

- simplified checkout process for registered account holders.

** Simplified, meaning, after login with their id/password the can see, on one page, their cart contents, default small display of the ship-to and bill-to (both editable if they choose by an "edit" link SEE BELOW), shipping options, and payment options.  There's no need to go througn multiple pages (steps) to enter this information.  I just find myself clicking and scrolling more using CCP even at 1600x1280 resolution.

Billing-------------------------Shipping:
Joe Schmoe------------------Joe Schmoe
123 Main St------------------456 Home Road
Hometown, CA--------------Worktown, CA
(555) 555-1212-------------(555) 555-2323
[EDIT]-------------------------[EDIT]

- default for multiple product pictures.

**  I like having the option of having many produt pictures for each product, aside from a single small, medium, and x-large of a single picture.

- (this is a longshot but...) various product page layouts with images and product information arraqnged differntly... almost like using different page "templates".

** It might be nice to have different templates for CCP, not just skins that I have to pay for, but just layouts.  I'd still like to customize the icons, buttons, and colors but I don't really want to move html/php around to get things to look different from the "standard" package.  Basically, a little more freedom with customization.

- (this is more of a question) why do I have to specify the hight/width of my banners or images?

** I appreciate the structured nature of the site/table layout but I'd like to create a banner or button and just insert it not having to remember to go into the admin panel and change the dimensions of it so that it wasn't compressed or expanded.

- discount prices based on user groups.

** This would allow the admin to create a group of people, so that when they logged in, saw a different price (possibly a regular price striked through and their price in bold) for each product... as opposed to using coupon or discount codes.

- quantity pull down next to add-to-cart button on product listings page

** I've seen a mod, but it isn't very clean, that adds a quantity pull-down next to the add-to-cart button, under the picture and price, in the product listing in the category view page.

- a login and password box on the store splash page.

** something simple that will identify, and greet, the user logging in.  Basically a "warm fuzzy"  ;-)

-  a login box, not a link to a login, on the first checkout screen

** I noticed that I have click on the "Click here to create a new customer account, or login to a different customer account." link even if I already have an account setup.  I would like to just have a login/password box and a link below it for unregistered/new customers.

I think that's about it for right now.... until I think of more..  ;-)
