No Products

Hi

I can change the products in the admin, but no products display in the shop.

http://www.greenbarnweb.com/e-com/cgi-bin/cp-app.cgi

I have probably missed a simple step, but what?

Howard

Re: No Products

Check to make sure you've got everything uploaded to the ./data/elements directory.  We're seeing the error:

<!-- DISPLAY ERROR: ELEMENT  DOES NOT EXIST -->

In your HTML source.  Also, re-upload ./data/elements/ste_layout.txt and see if that cures it.

Re: No Products

Check to make sure you've got this somewhere in your Site HTML Layout:

<!-- ############################################# -->
<!-- # Conent Section                            # -->
<!-- ############################################# -->

<CGIGET TYPE="SUB" VALUE="ste_exec_element" PARAMS="<CGIVAR>element_id</CGIVAR>">

Perhaps that's what's missing or not exactly correct.

Hi

I checked the site HTML layout and the content section was correct and hit submit and the layout went crazy.
See.

Re: No Products

Ouch.  Just re-upload the file ./data/elements/ste_layout.txt via FTP to fix that problem.  Actually, that will fix the other issue too.

Re: No Products

Hi

When I up-load the ste_layout.txt - I get the display with out the products.

When I open then submit the site layout using the admin (no changes) I get the crazy layout.

What else could cause this???

Howard

Re: No Products

Something must be very screwed up with your install.  Could you try to reinstall the program and see if that fixes your issue?  I'm thinking this may have been done via FTP and some of the files got screwed up on the way to the server.

Re: No Products

Hi

I have re-installed again, but have the same problem.

When I try to update the str_layout for the first time in the admin I get the following 'Micrsoft Internet Explorer cannot open the internet site
http://www.greenbarnweb.com/e-com/cgi-b … te_layout.
An internal error occurred in the Microsoft Internet extensions

Any more suggestions??

Re: No Products

At this point, please send your FTP info to ec@kryptronic.com so we can take a look.  This is all too strange.
