Action required: Renew your API certificate

I received an email from PayPal saying that I needed to update my API certificate.  I've recently been upgraded from CCP8 to v9 so I'm wondering if this is something left over from my old installation and not something that needs to be done anymore with the new PayPal Platform in v9?  Here is the email from PayPal:

Your API certificate needs renewal
The API certificate associated with your PayPal Business or Premier account, will expire on Apr 9, 2027. To avoid service disruption to your PayPal API integration, we recommend renewing your API certificate before the expiration date. Here's how:
1.    Login to PayPal.com
2.    Click the Profile button in the upper right corner then choose "Account Settings"
3.    In Account Access, Click Update for "API Access"
4.    Scroll down to NVP/SOAP API integration (Classic)
5.    Click Manage API credentials
6.    Click "Renew Certificate"

Thanks for any suggestions!

Re: Action required: Renew your API certificate

If you are using Kryptronic eCommerce 9.2 or higher, you're integrated with PayPal Commerce Platform, which does not use API certificates.  They were used by the older SOAP API.  You can disregard that message if you are using Kryptronic eCommerce 9.2 with PayPal Commerce Platform.
