Bounced Email Notifications

Our website is hosted on Kryptronics servers. We are getting a lot of bounced email notifications. I'm wondering if anyone else here who is hosted on Kryptronics' servers are having the same issues. It is getting extremely frustrating when (potential) customers cannot do business with us because they think we are ignoring their emails when in fact, OUR emails are getting returned from THEIR systems as undeliverable. I'm told it's a Microsoft problem since most of the bounces are coming from services such as outlook or hotmail. But I can send them emails from any other email address except those hosted here without issue. Is it just us? Anybody else having this problem?

Re: Bounced Email Notifications

We are seeing this issue intermittently across the entire network due to issues at Microsoft data centers.  This is affecting mail sent to addresses @msn.com, @microsoft.com, @hotmail.com and @live.com.  The issue stems from the fact that MS mail servers are blocking entire networks when a single piece of spam flows through to them from any server on a network.  Due to the way data centers are constructed, each network level block is affecting many, many servers and all the domains on those servers.  We're seeing the issues pop up and resolve every couple of weeks for a few hours at a time.  They get resolved as quickly as they come up - but this issue is not related to anything we're doing or that you're doing.  This is a fault on the Microsoft side with how they're handling spam.  We're hopeful they work this out as it's been going on for about two months now.

Re: Bounced Email Notifications

Then why can I send from any other address successfully?

Re: Bounced Email Notifications

We went over this in a ticket you submitted yesterday as well: It's not just your site/domain. It's the entire network. The domain is on IP A.B.C.D, which is (for example). The block is set for A.B.*.* so everything on the whole network is having an issue every time a block goes in. Several thousand servers - not just one domain.
