Guest Checkout Looping Back to CheckoutIntro
Just in case i am being totally stupid, I am right in assuming that to activate Guest Checkout, I only need to change "Allow Guest Checkout" to true in the Store/Component/Settings/Checkout and that's all.
When I activate this and go through to to the checkout (using no cache preview settings on my webserver) at the CheckoutIntro screen I select "Login as a Guest" and validates my guest login, but I jumps back to the same page: CheckoutIntro and I cannot proceed to the actual checkout screen.
Any idea why this is happening

I may have slightly mis quoted what actually happens...
I just tried it on a desktop computer that has never connected to my website.
I click on "Guest Checkout"
Then it goes to the "Billing Details" form
After I fill in all the fields with a made up name and email address and click "Continue"
It goes back to the screen with "Returning Customers", "Guest Checkout" etc but does still say at the top of the page:
"Thank you, your information has been saved, you can continue to checkout"
However I cannot...

Unfortunately I can't test this from here as you have guest checkout disabled on your site. Can you please open a ticket on this? I see that the site is modified and I'm thinking something you've done to the code elsewhere is affecting this and probably other things. As an alternative to opening a ticket, you can disable all your mods by renaming your private custom directory (temporarily), and then trying it. That will point the finger, so to speak, if it is something you've done.

Hi Nick,
Sorry for the delay, I had some personal issue to take care of, but I'm back now.
I have activated the Guest Checkout and will leave it live on the site, if you do possibly get a chance to have a quick look that would be amazing.
The guest checkout button has been renamed as follows (to stop customers clicking on it):
"New Customer? Click Create a New Account Below"
Thanks in advance, and I know you must be busy with the next release.

Your issue may have something to do with mods you've made. I see the state/province selection list is now a text box that is not required. That could cause issues. Beyond that, you do appear to have Guest Checkout enabled, which would be required to get it to work regardless of how you modded that form. I suggest you back out your account/checkout related mods one-by-one until you get it working again (to isolate the bad change). That, or open a support ticket on it and we can login/debug/fix as needed.
