Spam in core_sessions table

HI Nick

Just curious as I have noticed lots of the following rows appearing in the sessions table.

a:4:{s:5:"fname";s:8:"CrytoBup";s:5:"lname";s:8:"CrytoBup";s:5:"phone";s:11:"89030252060";s:5:"email";s:17:"lholder@rrfcu.com";}

My live site has 'CryptoBup' entries whilst my developer site has 'Crytoperma' entries.

Email addresses are various different ones and also seem to suggest Russian IP and associated with spam.

Is this just bots trying to send contact messages but failing due to the Captcha??

Thanks
Rob

It would appear that way.  Ban the IP using your firewall (preferred) or .htaccess file.
