Dark Green on Black Format

Does anyone else have problems reading the green on black format for the forum? I could live with the #1 type size if the colors had more of a contrast.

Any suggestions as to what type of text would show up well on dark green, black, white and grey backgrounds at the same time?  If you've got an idea, we'll try it.
