Hiding the Sort Bar

Is there an option in the backend for turning off the sort bar?   I can't use display:none as it doesn't have an id.  If not, can I comment it out somewhere?

Using Store / Component / Settings / Categories: Standard View, set 'Product Listing: Display Sort Options' to false.
