Splash vs home page issue again

Hi,

So all my home page links are going to <link rel="canonical" href="https://westfield4schools.co.uk/cms-splash/splash.html" />
except for the 'Online Shop Menu' home page link which goes to <link rel="canonical" href="https://westfield4schools.co.uk/Store" />
How do I change the shop menu to also go to splash?
I want all home links to go to the same canonical link (Splash) please.

Cheers,
Bruce.

Re: Splash vs home page issue again

First, you should use Website / Content / Webpages to edit the splash page and change the SEO URL from 'splash.html' to '{ROOT}'.  That will get the homepage answering on https://westfield4schools.co.uk/.  Next, use Store / Component / Settings / Store Splash Page to set 'Bypass Store Splash Page' to true to bypass the store homepage as you require.

Re: Splash vs home page issue again

Hi Nick,

Do you think the setting...

"Store / Component / Settings / Store Splash Page set 'Bypass Store Splash Page' to true to bypass the store homepage as you require."

should be...

"set 'Bypass Store Splash Page' to true to bypass the store splash page as you require."

A bit confusing don't you think? It does exactly the opposite of what it says it does and acts on a different page too.

Maybe just a...

"Set Home page to Splash page for all Home links" yes/no switch might be clearer.

Cheers,
Bruce.

I see your point.  Never really considered it confusing.
