Account Login Suddenly Stopped Working

CCP 8 has been installed on this site for 5+ years and been working fine. Suddenly last Wednesday 10-03-18 the AccountLogin stopped working. I go there and enter email and password and click the submit button but it just refreshes the same page. I click the create new account link and it just refreshes to the same page. If I add items to my cart and then to go checkout, then click any of the options to login, check out as guest or create account or even the send password, the page just refreshes instead of changing. Any ideas on what could be happening here? I suspect this may be server related but not sure and wanted to check with CCP experts before I spend an hour on hold for tech support.

NOTE: If I use the "Create New Account" on the footer, that works. The link to "Account Login" does not.

This sounds like a JavaScript issue.  Try disabling Ajax for the login and create account pages (under System / Component / Settings / Ajax Settings).  Could be a PHP issue, though.  If your site has not been converted to full SSL (SSL URLs for every request), this could be a browser issue.

That indicates you have an issue with something.  It may look fixed, but it's not.  I'd recommend opening a ticket with us to have us investigate:
