I'm guessing you're running a banner on the splash page, and that's what you're referring to. If that's the case, edit it using Website > Content > Banner Advertisements.

Thanks for the quick reply.
That does not seem to have the jpg file I am looking for.
The image's path is:

I have made some notes about this issue some time ago.
Apparently it has to do with the ste_layout.txt (element?) but I do not know where to find this file

You can change the logo here:
Location: System Dashboard > System > Component > Settings > Display Skins

That would be a reference to a file location in a version 5.1 or lower install. Not pertinent to V8.

BTW is there a "road map" in CCP; like when one looks at anything on one's Website there would be a '"link" that points to the location where this "item" can be modified; a bit like a shortcut to the manual?
It would be of immense help to "us" non-programmers.

We've considered adding something similar previously but it would be a good bit of logic to add to support what would be a very rarely used feature (only admins only during development would see it).
