Google Console error Your Sitemap appears to be an HTML page

Hi. I keep getting this error message in google when I submit my sitemap:  Your Sitemap appears to be an HTML page. Please use a supported sitemap format instead.

This is the sitemap I submitted:  https://www.countrychicdecals.com/sitemapxhtml and that link brings up my sitemap.

Has anyone else dealt with this and if so, how did you fix it?

the correct sitemap is probably https://www.countrychicdecals.com/utilities/sitemap.xml
