Is there any chance of the UPS OnLineŽ Tools being completely integrated into CCP? I have been searching for a e-commerce/cart app that fully supports BofA (CC Processing) and UPS and it looks as though CCP might just be the holy grail that I have been looking for.
I have been reading through the forums about the current problems with the current UPS functions within CCP they sound familiar to me as an ex-Miva Merchant user. The UPS tools in Miva Merchant never worked correctly either.
And one last question, does CCP offer automatic inventory quantity checking for products? The ability to enter a quantity for a certain product that will automically decrement as each item is sold has been a powerful tool that I would be hard pressed to give up.
Thank you for your time,
-Francisco

CCP4 and 5 use the Perl module Business::UPS to interact with UPS. We're looking into using their Tools API in a future release, but that will not be available for some time.
The problems users have reported with UPS have been addressed in CCP5, which is due out any time now. The issues were not due to the use of Business::UPS vs. their tools, rather with the total weight and zip calculations during checkout. CCP5 has a new methodology for checking rates and communicating zips and weights.
Yes, the program tracks inventory an updates it realtime.

That sounds great. Does CCP's "inventory tracking" work on the base product level or can it track on a "product+option" level? My site Gameskins.com sells apparel and the way that we currently have things setup uses Product Families w/ the individual products within that family having the ability to track inventory.
An example of a Product Family would be:
Roots Tee Shirt (Product Family)
---Products within the family---
Blue M
Blue L
Blue XL
Black M
Black L
Black XL
---All are individually trackable---
I noticed that within the cart demo http://www.clickcartpro.com/clickcartpr … amp;ref=18 the setup looks as though it would function similiar to what I am currently running http://www.game-skins.com/gssh001.shtml . Does CCP handle the inventory tracking for the individual 15", 17" and 19" sizes http://www.clickcartpro.com/clickcartpr … amp;ref=18
I apologize for my long winded post.
Thanks again,
-Francisco
