ebay compatibility????????

I'd like to have a way worked out that my eBay bidders could come check out and pay thru the CCP store.  I have many customers who buy numerous items over a period of a week, and it is a real hassle to get the invoicing figured out.  I see that the CCP5 documentation references potentials to generate ebay ads.  Is there some easy way to have bidders come over to check out and pay thru the CCP store?

Re: ebay compatibility????????

Do you sell the same products at your website? If you do all you need to do is reference the product in the description using <href>. Know what I mean??

Re: ebay compatibility????????

I guess I am just a little too dense here, Greg.

I have a CCP website which is online but disabled.  My eBay products are different than the website.  For the time being, I'd like my eBay winner notification letters to direct the bidders over to the CCP website for payment.  I have many customers who purchase multiple items so I need to combine them, too.

Re: ebay compatibility????????

If you do run the product in your store, the eBay tie in in CCP5 already has the link to that product built right in.

Re: ebay compatibility????????

So does this work for auctioned items or only for fixed price?

Re: ebay compatibility????????

The new version has an API where you can post items into your shopping cart from outside sources - so the product wouldn't have to reside in the product database.  It would be pretty simple to formulate a link, lets say (don't use this, it won't work - the syntax is different):

http://www.yourdomain.com/ccp5/cgi-bin/ … rate=10.00

And it would allow them to checkout with that info after entering their shipping address.  It should work quite well, come to think of it.

Re: ebay compatibility????????

Sorry to keep dragging this out, but I bet that I'm not the only one interested....

In eBay, the seller sends out a 'Winning Bidder Notification' at the end of each auction, giving the auction number and price.  AT that point, the seller waits for the buyer to contact them concerning payment.

Are you saying that we could put that link in the Winning Bidder Notification email, so that the buyer could click into the CCP site to start a shopping cart and enter their shipping or payment data, plus indicate whether they still had upcoming auctions to complete?

QUESTION 2 - I like to use stamps.com to print out all my USPS postage because it checks the address and assigns the zip+4 address, meaning that my first class mail often arrives in 2 days.  Even the Priority Mail with zip+4 is far superior to UPS shipping.  I DON'T like to have to type those addresses in, though.  Could you look into adding compatibility with stamps.com?  Some of the other purveyors of eBay services, such as AuctionWatch, tie in directly to them.

Thank you very much.

Re: ebay compatibility????????

(1) Yes, whatever the link may be, would be inputted in your winning bid notification email.

(2) We'll look into those integrations in a future release (not the one that's due out immediately).
