Long Product Description

You Copy and Paste a Description in the Long Product Description. It has apostrophe in it.  you load it in Load WYSIWYG Editor or load it in Enter a long product description below. This description can contain XHTML tags. it changes all words with a apostrophe in it.

I tried to paste it here. But it change it back on here. At the bottom of the page click on Diecast Specs does it their too.

Re: Long Product Description

As you want to add XHTML into your descriptions, wrap them in <p> tags or something so it's valid XHTML.  Recommending you use a single quote instead of an apostrophe, though, as it's just better practice.  Why go through all that markup to present a character that some systems have trouble rendering?

Re: Long Product Description

Why is it that I pasted what it was changing it to on here and when I submit it. It change it to what it was so post to be?

In V8 that's all that I have done is Copy and Paste into these Fields and have not had a Problem with Doing This at all. This is Happen in other Fields as well.

Dashboard / Store / Catalog / Product Offers. tabs for Product displayed for this product also.

Re: Long Product Description

Are you entering your encoded apostrophes as '&amp;#8221;' or ”' as without the '&amp;' is proper.
