CCP5 - Expected Release Date & Tech Support
The expected release date for CCP5 is 06/30/2002. We are making every attempt to release the software before then, but want to make sure that it is fully beta tested and all of the requests that users have had for CCP4 over the past year are addressed.
We're sorry for the delays, but are sure that you will find that CCP5 will be well worth the wait. Some of the stuff we slammed in there is unreal.
NOTICE:
To ensure that CCP5 (currently under development) can be released as soon as possible, all tech support requests submitted after 06/01/2002 will be addressed after the official release of CCP5.
The online forum and questions received via email will still be addressed as time permits.

I think most of us would rather wait an extra week or two (I mean lets face it, CCP4 is already running great for many of us!) and have a solid working release than having it available earlier without any major bugs worked out!

Is there some sort of feature list we can expect to be added to CCP 5.0? I know there's discussions on this all throughout the forum, but it would be nice if they were all in one place.

We've got a list that's 11 pages long, but are reluctant to publish it all in one spot because there may be some features that don't make the cut. The full list will be available on the day of the release.
