How about an XMOD for Amazon

Hi Guys.

Here in the UK Amazon and EBay are very poular outlets and leads back to own site and get a lot of visabilty for the site owner.

How about an Xmod similar to googlebase wher you could upload the inventory spreadsheet or database just like with google base it would save a load of repeated tasks.

Both Amazon and eBay modules are in the works.

No news on this either Kryptronic as well as product review emails? We need to get something sorted ASAP.

Re: How about an XMOD for Amazon

We are 3-4 weeks away from completing full integrations for eBay and Amazon.  We should have them publicly available in May.  Several Kryptronic clients have graciously stepped up and sponsored the larger portions which were holding up development.  These are full on integrations meaning not only can you post products to these systems for sale, but you can download and manage the orders from those systems as well.  This is a complete integration with two major systems, and does take time.

Re: How about an XMOD for Amazon

I'm guessing this is working with options then? Have avoided eBay and Amazon for some time but really there is no denying the traffic they get now. I for one head straight to these sites for my purchases as well as Google shopping. It's just the ease and security of checking out via them as well as low pricing....

Re: How about an XMOD for Amazon

The code we have currently does not support options, but that is in the works.  Everybody has avoided Amazon for the same reasons (mainly the cost), but it undeniable at this point that there's a market there that will otherwise not shop at a regular online store.

When posting the products to Amazon from CCP8 will the product data post also include inventory levels for each product?

Re: How about an XMOD for Amazon

Hmm, I modified the Google Shopping feed to output a product multiple times for each option altering the price, code and appending the option name to the product name. Guess I could do a similar thing quite easily here?

Re: How about an XMOD for Amazon

Yes, I guess you could, but we're handling it prior to launch.  Our code right now isn't handling options, but it should be the time we publicly launch it.

Re: How about an XMOD for Amazon

Correct.  We're about halfway done with both modules at this point.

Re: How about an XMOD for Amazon

This sounds very exciting. And for a company like mine, to have products in Amazon would add such credibility.

Re: How about an XMOD for Amazon

Close.  Very close.  We have the amazon/ebay module customized for one custom shop client (module sponsor) at this point and are modifying for another sponsor.  It won't be long before all the functions are 100% and ready for everyone else.

Re: How about an XMOD for Amazon

It is.  We've got it installed and running for one client and are working on getting it packaged and installed for another.  Won't be much longer.

Re: How about an XMOD for Amazon

Check the V9 forum.  It's being released this month, and Amazon is available for it.
