Barclays "new" ePDQ setup - more problems with Gateway

Getting really teed off with Barclays. They have managed to mess up something in moving the Barclays end from Test to Production and will no longer accept our SHA-IN/SHA-OUT password entries (we want to use the same and in theory Barclays should accept this and change the Test settings).

They have not resolved this yet so I'm wondering if we try a different SHA-IN/SHA-OUT password to that used in the test do we have to change any setting in the gateway that was working, e.g is the Transaction Key/Password the equivalent to SHA-IN and SHA-OUT.

I have also had yet another change notice from Barclays :-

During February 2014 we will be updating the Verisign security certificate chain on the ePDQ platform. This maintenance introduces the following certificate type:

VeriSign PKI Managed for SSL / RSA / Premium SSL with EV (extended validation)

Information concerning any associated certificates can be found on the VeriSign website.

• The ePDQ Test platform (https://mdepayments.epdq.co.uk) will be updated on the 10th February 2014

•The ePDQ Live platform (https://payments.epdq.co.uk) will be updated on the 17th February 2014

Is there anything I need to do?

Depending on how you have integrated ePDQ, your connection to the ePDQ service may be performing specific checks of the secure connection. This would be an inherent part of the integration process, and the web developer or hosting company who integrated ePDQ for you will be able to confirm if they or you need to make any associated changes, and whether they will need to liaise with Verisign to obtain appropriate information to ensure you are suitably up to date.

Does this need any action on the Clickart epdq gateway?

Thanks

Re: Barclays "new" ePDQ setup - more problems with Gateway

(1) As long as the SHA-IN/SHA-OUT password is entered in ClickCartPro/EuropaCart is the same one used for ePDQ production, you will be good to go.  To address your question specifically, 'Transaction Key/Password ' in ClickCartPro/EuropaCart is where the SHA-IN/SHA-OUT password is entered.

(2) The update to the Verisign security certificate chain on the ePDQ platform does not affect how ClickCartPro/EuropaCart verifies orders.
