Changing default width under Page Footer
I want to change the default width of the area underneath the footer, where the copyright information appears, along with the design company, how do I do this.

If you write the font html in the footer it will override the program settings which I believe are set at zero.

After reading your post again I'm not sure I answered your question. If what you want to do is to change the look of the footer go the data_html_elements_footer and make your changes there.

You can change the width of the footer section, but I have not found where I can change the width of the copyright information.

You can change that in admin/program settings/edit program settings
