taxing ...

Just having a problem getting my head around the tax settings on europcart.

I have a product that is EXEMPT from tax with a Volume price set to 1-6:3.75;6:1.88

That is from 1 to 6 it is £3.75 each and from 6+ it is £1.88 each.

yet the pricing is displayed as:

Buy 1-6:    GBP 4.50 Inc VAT Each
Buy 6+:    GBP 2.26 Inc VAT Each
Your Total:
GBP 3.75

i.e. the pricing including VAT is being displayed rather than without VAT as the product is EXEMPT.

Am I missing something here?

Re: taxing ...

Not sure about what tax rules you are using, but there is a setting here:
Location: System Dashboard > System > Component > Settings > Tax Settings

for Country Tax: European Union VAT Rules - Catalog Price Tax Entry*

Is that set to Catalogue Prices Exclude Tax???

If so, the price display may not be taking into account the tax exemption for volume pricing.

is set to Including Tax.

so it is not that.

Re: taxing ...

It appears the volume pricing display does not account for VAT status as it should.  This may have been an oversight when the new volume pricing system went live in v8.  I'll look at this further and will publish a fix here and in an update.
