Nav bar is not functioning?

Hello,

The left-hand nav bar of my cart is not displaying items. Items can be located when they are searched, and the items have the proper relationships, but they aren't showing up when their respecitive categories are clicked on the navigation bar. Any idea what may be happening?

Thanks, in advance.

Re: Nav bar is not functioning?

Did it ever work? Have you set the product that should be displayed in those categories by selecting the categories they need to be linked too in the products information at System Dashboard > Store > Catalog > Products > "product_id" : Relationships > Related Categories section?

It was working up until today. And yes, all relationships have been set. Items come back when you do a search for them, just not on the nav bar.

Re: Nav bar is not functioning?

They would be returned from a search regardless of category relationship status.

Your site does not come up at all. You have a corrupted database.

Re: Nav bar is not functioning?

As vbsaltydog said items will be pulled in a search even if they are not set to display in a category, but from our view we can not see if the product(s) are setup for an given category in there database entries.

Re: Nav bar is not functioning?

Since you said it worked before and you also had a recent db corruption, you may want to do a mysql repair on the ecom_cat and ecom_prod tables. If that does not fix it then you may want to enable the CCP debugger to look for any obvious errors.
