I currently have version 7.1.1
I downloaded the 7.1.3 installer file from the posted 7.1.1 - 7.1.3 link and installed on server. The install went without errors.
Now when I look at the System: Installed Software I still see 7.1.1 as the Component Base in all the components. Shouldn't I see 7.1.3 if install was successful?

Not all files are updated or changed in an update so some script versions can range form 7.0.0 to 7.1.3. You can look in your core_modules database table (at System Dashboard > System > Database > Raw Database Admin) which will contain the versions numbers of the latest updates, cms.CMS should be the first in the list and should be 7.1.3 if the update whent as planed.

I clicked on Browse link to the right of cms_dynformfield and got the info below. Cannot see any Version information.

Click on "Browse" for the database table "core_modules" (this is generally the 18th table listed on the Raw Database Admin page), the one you keep looking at holds the dynamic form field entries, as the name says cms_dynformfield.
