Intergrating PayPal Website Payments Pro - no certificate?

I followed the steps in the Wiki and I managed to get my username, password and signature etc but there is not a 'download certificate' link on that page. I've had a good look around and cannot find any way to get a certificate anymore.

Anyone know where I can get the certificate? (As it's a required field and I guess it won't work without it).

Even the PayPal documentation is outdated. The link I found on their help site for requesting a certificate is here https://cms.paypal.com/us/cgi-bin/?cmd= … rtificates and it shows a 'download certificate' button. There is no longer that button, just done and remove.

Okay, it looks like you need to go to Profile from the top tab.  Then to Request API credentials underneath Account Information.  Then to Set up PayPal API credentials and permissions under Option 1.  Then to View API Certificate under Option 2.  Then you can download from there I believe!

That is very strange.  What is the address in the address bar?  Mine is this : https://www.paypal.com/us/cgi-bin/websc … t-download

and it shows this screen below:

You may have to remove the API signature, as I believe the signature and the certificate are two separate methods of verification for shopping carts.

Ashley ... you have to go back to where you can "View or Remove" the API signature. Click the remove button and run through the process again. Then when you click on "Option 2" "Request API Credentials" you will be presented with 2 options. You want to click on the radio button that says "Request API certificate if your shopping cart or solution provider requires a file-based certificate."

Hope this helps
