UK VAT not added to shipping cost
Hi. The system doesn't seem to be adding 17.5 VAT to the shipping cost. It should just add 17.5% of the total value of the order including shipping.
Am I missing something?

Hi Everyone. I found following System Dashboard > System > Locations > Countries
There you can set the VAT rate on shipping for for each individual country. I haven't tested it yet, but it is in the standard package so it should work.
From the Manual page 29:
Tax Information
Shipping Tax Rate (Percentage)
Enter 0.000 for no shipping tax.

From an order today:
Item Subtotal Exc VAT £123.20
Delivery Total £4.95
VAT Total £22.43 18.20616883 17.50292626
Total £150.58
The actual VAT rate is 17.5029626 (should be shown to two decimal places only). The VAT is now applied correctly to Item Subtotal and Delivery Total added together, and gives the correct total of £22.43. But the displayed "actual rate" of 18.20616883 is wrong cos it is the total VAT on BOTH the Subtotal and Delivery Total, BUT calculate in this instance as a % of the Item subtotal ONLY. That is why the % is shown as being greater than it should be.
How can I hide the "actual rate" % which will always be wrong using this method of calculation.

There are issues with UK VAT which remain unresolved despite numerous requests to Nick that they be addressed. As it stands, out of the box, Europacart does not meet HM Customs & Excise requirements, and the penalties for breaching their rules can be severe. (@Nick - you think the IRS are tough, try HMCE).
There are some workarounds in various threads in the forum, but I really do think Kryptronic should be fixing these issues rather than their customers cobbling together their own patches. After all, Europacart is sold as EU compliant.
It isn't.
