Strange cart contents

Looking through cart contents I have come across some very weird entries.  One of the product options on my site is a box for customers to add any special instructions, etc.

It seems that every product has been "added to basket"  and gibberish has been entered in this box.  This is a sample of what I have found :-

href="http://ierjrxblwzaq.com/">ierjrxblwzaq</a>, ,    link=http://vjupduiystgl.com/]vjupduiystgl[/link], http://qwpuztlqlnmx.com/";}

Would someone have to add every one of these products manually, or is possible that it could have been done automatically by the increasing number of low life on the internet?  If so, does that mean that CCP isn't very secure?

Even though another of the product options we use is 'file upload', no images have been uploaded.

I'm really puzzled by this, any ideas?  I'm not sure whether any of this compromises the site in any way?

Re: Strange cart contents

It's simply a spammer looking for any type of entry field where they can post links and other gibberish.
