For example:
In System Dashboard > Store > Catalog > Products then Relationships you are presented with boxes where you scroll up/down and tick the items you want.
This is fine when you have a few items put could be a problem when you have to scroll around 1000s of items. Can you add a filter option to each scroll box, for instance add a field above each which would work along the lines of: select * from table where item like '%filter%'

The trigger is actually 250 items. Once you exceed that number you'll get a simple text box with a link to the the related items that you may copy and paste from. There is nothing available in CCP to filter the list.

Is there any method to lower this check? I'd like it to activate when it reaches 50 items.

Actually this is a serious problem for me with upgrading.
One of my gripes with CCP6 is that to associate a product I can't just click on the list of products from the product creation/management page and search for associated items - there's just a list. You could do this in CCP5.1 so I don't know why. Anyway, I have to go into my live site, search for related products, capture the item name and copy and paste it into the admin area. It's slow and irritating where a search addition to the link would be quicker.
Going to a checkbox is a no-go. I can't be doing with searching through 249 products on a checklist until I find suitable ones!
Having a text entry area no matter how many products there are is at a minimum the equivalent of CCP6. Check boxes are really user-unfriendly for anyone with more than 30 odd products.
Please can we have a text box PLUS a search feature?

Here is what I had in mind when I posted this message, its an image from a product we use at work. It may get ideas flowing:
Each column that is display gets a filter box above it, you just type in what you want press enter and it narrows down your search. You select what you want or check the select records option at the bottom opens up a check box beside each item.

That is a fair example there Mr Rarch, gets my vote

I'd like to have a filter option like that every where there is a list of records, such as Location: System Dashboard > Store > Catalog > Products
It would make CCP more user friendly IMO.
