HSBC is integrated - it's on the second page of results under Manage Payment Gateways.
Perfect - sorry for not spotting that.
However the version supplied with V7 is full of problems that have been highlighted on this forum for the past couple of years. Amongst the main ones are Incorrect Timestamp (https://forum.kryptronic.com/viewtopic.php?id=17078 post #8) and fixed shipping country (always 826, UK see https://forum.kryptronic.com/viewtopic.php?id=19606 post #6 and following). Would it not be a really good opportunity to fix these issues and others before sending out the V7 code - otherwise there will be yet more and more people having trouble with this?
(I notice that https://forum.kryptronic.com/viewtopic.php?id=22698 post #7 has been put in there though!)

HSBC was always a difficult integration - eventually I had to get Howard to do it for me
As said before - a pity we have not seen any contributions from him but life must go on - I'm just about to change over 2 sites now

Love the new interface guys and can't wait to upgrade.
Unfortunately an extension module similar to Greenbarn's Batch Shipping module would be essential before we could consider it. Not sure if existing mods cover it but essentially it allows us to view all non-shipped orders, print all dispatch notes and invoices at the touch of a button and then mark all orders shipped on a single page with a single button. We only process between 40 to 80 orders a day, but without this module it would take us A LOT longer to get our orders out etc.
Not too worried about Royal Mail Integration as I'll happily configure shipping by hand but PostcodeAnywhere integration would be very nice.

Dave is currently finishing a combination module that supports Batch Shipping and Advanced Order Management. I'll have Dave post an estimate on the release date. I'd expect it will follow the first update for CCP7.

Hi,
Change Cart to Basket, Store to Shop, Zip Code to Post Code and any other American'isms to British English.
Cheers,
Bruce.

You can change 'cart' to 'basket' and 'store' to 'shop' on your own by editing some page titles and system messages if you like.
We already call the zip code the 'zip / postal code' in the software.

Sounds great thanks Nick, I'll be upgrading very shortly afterwards!

Dave have you got an ETA for the Advanced order module and also when will sagepay Secure server be ready.
Both items are required before I can change over.
Thanks

I don't Rob. The SagePay change is likely to be available in the forthcoming update Nick is working on.

Any idea when the update will be available that includes Sagepay server???
Any idea when the batch shipping module will be available.
Thanks

I am currently using ccp6(UK) but want to purchase version 7 for use on a different site. The most important feature for me is "Royal Mail Shipping Integration". I have read the original thread on this subject and it looks like it should have been added several weeks ago but I can't find it anywhere on the version 7 feature list.
So all I want to know is 'can I use Royal Mail Shipping with version 7'?

I don't think there will be any more firm (or even vague) dates mentioned on this forum after the recent delays to CCP7 and associated fuss...

ClickCartPro 7.1 was just released as a free update for 7.0 users and an upgrade for 6.0 and 5.x users.
ClickCartPro 7.1 has added zone-based shipping which supports Royal Mail and Parcelforce, Google Checkout (US and UK support), and a new SagePay Direct integration.
Thank you for your input in this thread. Your suggestions have helped make ClickCartPro a better product for everyone.

First update sounds great and definitely brings us nearer. Are you now moving on to Batch Shipping or is it still some way off. Ideally we'd love to upgrade in Jan/Feb which are our quieter times.

What's the purpose of PostCode Anywhere? We have no plans of integrating it.
Part of the problem is that a lot of people in the UK don't know their own postcodes. This may seem strange, but the area covered by an individual postcode in the UK is much smaller than one in, for example, Germany - and probably the US.
PostCode Anywhere no doubt assists retailers to verify the postcodes of their customers.

That's certainly strange. We have zip codes here (five digit numeric) and everyone knows them - and usually the zip codes in their surrounding areas.
So how does Postcode Anywhere work? What does the user input? Does it output a postcode for a city/county combination, or a city/county combination for a postcode entry?

I'm probably not best placed to answer that, as I don't use it (or anything similar), but, having tried the free demo, it can work from the house number/street/city combination - if, for example, the customer has not given any postcode information. Alternatively, a customer might know the first part of their postcode - e.g. SO15 if they live on the west side of Southampton. Postcode Anywhere would enable a retailer to verify the exact postcode for the house number/street combination.
Due to the very small area covered by each individual postcode (up to 80 addresses) a lot of geographic and socio-economic data is associated with UK postcodes. Postcode data is used for other purposes besides assisting in automated mail-sorting, including calculation of insurance premiums and to designate destinations in route-planning software. I suspect that last one is the important one for internet retailers, as they will need to ensure that any goods they send out will have the correct postcode. Postcode Anywhere offer tools for routeplanning on their website, and services related to bank and credit card verification.
Unfortunately, the complicated nature of the system means that occasionally postcodes have to be changed, which confuses some people, and no doubt reduces the level of awareness!
Hope that helps!
