custom email field
Hi,
for one product we sell to our students we will only communicate to their student email address. So somewhere in the sale of this product I need to trap this email address. What are my options? A 'Product Option' or a 'Dynamic Form' with field? I haven't a clue where to start?
This has to operate on the product level as other products are for sale to the general public - who can set up an account with whatever email they wish.
2nd requirement is I need to validate the emails' domain name portion? The address must be, For instance : "@ouruniversity.com"

You may associate a product option field that is a text box for someone to enter a value but there isn't anything available in CCP as delivered that would allow you to validate the contents beyond making sure it contains a value if it is a required field.
Dynamic forms do allow a field to be designated as an e-mail field but no validation is done.

Can a dynamic form be associated with a product such that filling out the form is mandatory when purchasing? Any instructions anywhere?
