we have just moved our server and are now getting this error after the return from our card processors ,
""""A file permissions error has occurred. Please check the permissions on the script and the directory it is in and try again.""""
it is pointing at the relay dir and gbu_0.php file , what permissions should they be at?
the transaction has gone through with the processor, i have also noticed that the config.php files show all the old servers details , we have re run the installer but nothing has changed and the config files are still the old ones.
this is urgent as at the moment we cannot properly use the site

The relay directory and gbu0.php in it will likely need to be set to 755 to avoid problems. Once you've checked/changed them you can hit that program directly from your browser and you'll know whether or not it will work.
For the configuration files it's likely another permissions problem. Try setting the entire private directory to 777 and at least config.php in the public directory to 777 also.

will check those,
is it wise to delete the old config files and re run the installer ?

Absolutely not. If the URLs aren't correct the return from the processor is likely going to the old URL which may be part of your problem.
