joomla log in

Do you have to re log in using the same credentials, or does one log in do it all?

I have my joomla site http://www.lsanashville.com

I have my ccp http://www.lsanashville.com/metalzone

If I register in my joomla site..it will create some type of registration in ccp.. the fields are not quite right... but I can log into ccp with the same credentials...

However, if i am logged in to joomla site, it doesn't recognize the logged in state when I go to ccp...and when I am logged into ccp, it doesn't carry over to joomla...

Is this correct under this set up...?

Thanks,
Alicia

Re: joomla log in

It sounds like you activated the user plugin - but did not activate the auth plugin.  Both should be activated for all the sign-in functions to work.

Re: joomla log in

well as the majority of my issues turn out to be, it's usually me... which was most of the reason for this case...

It all started when the installation of ccp would knock out my joomla site....it would separate my user from my database....
turned out this installation needed a differerent MYSQL user not the same one as my joomla MYSQL user...

So thinking something may have occured in the error or fixing of that... I just reinstalled ccp, reset the joomla connection... and looks to be a-ok now...

So once again, as usual... me...

Thanks,
Alicia

Re: joomla log in

Ok.  I tested that every way from Sunday for two months.  If you found a problem in two days I was going to offer you a job on the beta team smile
