Hi Dave,

just tried agian when i log in it takes me to shop categories page then when i click on a product category it goes to the selected category page shows a blank page , when i look at the top of the page it says login to your account.
we have got a mod on there that shows prices when logged in but it works fine in IE, safari and google chrome

Your last post has confused me. Since I don't have an account I can't log in and I don't see a way to create one. The cookie your site is setting appears to be fine. What does the mod you have, IE, Safari and Chrome have to do with the situation?

no idea thought i was providing as much info as possible to help, mentioned the browsers due to someone suggestinng a cookie issue
we removed the option to create an account on the site as it is being used as a wholesale site and we wanted to control who sees the prices.
I will pm you a user name and password

picstart your problem is very different than the original problem that started this thread. If things were working and suddenly stopped I'd suggest going back to the last thing you changed and see if it might be causing a problem. The modification you've done is interesting but I'd suspect it to be related to the problem. I'm not quite sure what you changed to force logging in to see prices but something you've done appears to not be maintaining the logged in state.

HI Dave,
we have only just launched the site (last week),and have not changed anything since it went live, the mod was from a posting on the forum , we tested the site using IE on which it works fine, so never encountered this problem, it was pointed out to us by a client trying to use the site with firefox, it works pefectly in IE, safari and google chrome so i am a little confused , i have also just tested it with opera and it does not work in that either so to me it appears to be connected to mozzilla based browsers but not sure.

OK, this is really really weird. The pages are valid and there's no logical explanation I can see or find to explain why it is working with IE but not FF (problems usually run the other way around .. works in FF but not IE). I have absolutely NO clue what else to check/look at I'm afraid. If you/we/someone else ever does figure it out I'd sure like to know what it turns out to be.

This could be worrying the master of clickcart admitting he has no idea where to look , what chance have us mere clickcart mortals got of finding the answer, i will look at the mod we did, but it does not make sense to me that it can work in IE. if anyone has any ideas i will be gratefull for their input
