We are suddenly getting complaints from customers who are unable to create an account because when they get to one of the drop down boxes they are unable to make it select anything so they cannot progress. we have tried to recreate this problem but cant .
can anyone offer a solution to this problem , we know this is losing us potential customers and is a great cause for concern.

unfortunately not but knowing the customer base i would be inclined towards IE 6 /7 , it has also happened to more than one person in the last week alone.

That problem was addressed quite a while back and involved a small change to the scripts.js file which resides in the skin/scripts directory for the skin you are using for your site. The first update shown on should resolve the problem.

Hi Dave,
do you mean the scripts.js piece
or right down to the robots pice of code?

Hi Dave,
that piece of code has already been replaced, any other suggesttions?

Nope, they can still select things but they have to use the arrow keys instead of the mouse. It was (is?) a problem specific to IE and was reproducible until that fix was made. Hate to ask the obvious but are you sure you changed it for the skin being used for your site?
The update only mentions the default skins that are delivered with CCP. If you've customized a skin there's a good chance you aren't using either of those.
