Can't checkout via affiliate links

I've hacked together my storefront and that is probably causing this issue.  The store works fine unless you enter from an affiliate link.  If you do it will not allow you to checkout.  I am at a loss.  It must be related to my hackjob because it worked before.

Any insights at all would be greatly appreciated.  And assume I have about as much knowledge as it looks like I do (which is virtually none).

Re: Can't checkout via affiliate links

It looks ok if I just head to the site.  Can you give us a test affiliate link so we can see the problem?

Re: Can't checkout via affiliate links

any of the links on http://www.fussybaby.ca .  If I enter from that link I can't purchase anything.  If I enter any other way it's fine.

Re: Can't checkout via affiliate links

Hi,

When I clicked the Pollywog picture ad it took me to your site

http://www.pollywogbaby.com/cgi-bin/ccp … BABY"

but it had a quote mark at the end so this was stopping the rest of the information to be passed ie

http://www.pollywogbaby.com/cgi-bin/ccp … mp;pg=cart

became

http://www.pollywogbaby.com/cgi-bin/ccp … =FUSSYBABY

so it stopped working, hence you can not checkout.

Check with the person you have the ad with to correct the affiliate link code.  Remember that once you have changed the code you will need to clear your browser cache etc.

This should solve it.
