Re: paypal cost

What extra cost for PayPal?  The closest thing would probably be a handling charge which may be configured in admin under Home > ClickCartPro > Settings: Application Settings Menu > Shipping Settings

Re: paypal cost

Just as an FYI the PayPal and merchant account agreements usually specifically disallow "surcharges" to cover credit card/merchant account fees.

Re: paypal cost

Thanks

Has someone a solution how to solve this "problem". For the extra cost between direct payment on a bankaccount and creditcard payment solution the ask +/- 2 and more % / transaction.

Best regards
Frank

Re: paypal cost

You can't do that under PayPal's rules, so it is unlikely a solution would be provided here.  The only legitimate way to do that is to raise your prices to compensate for the fee... you could average out your fees and up all your prices by that amount.  Any other way would violate the PayPal TOS.

Re: paypal cost

Not only the PayPal TOS but virtually any other merchant account agreement.  The fees are considered the cost of doing business and you should ask your tax advisor about how best to handle them.  Or simply do as Rachael suggests which is what most merchants do.
