I live in the UK and would like to puchase CCP6.
From the .com website
"Enter discount code SELLWITHCCP to save $50.00 off the retail price and get ClickCartPro 6 today for only $199.99. Offer valid for a limited time only."
This is £100.20 to us in the UK at todays exchange rate. ![]()
From the .co.uk website
Price: £187.99 inc Vat ($373.33) ![]()
I beg the question, why is the UK version £87.11 (about $173) more expensive???

Hi
We did do market research on the price of the CCP6-UK and pitched the price at the lower end of what our customer said would be a realistic price for the software.
The vast majority of feedback on price is why we so cheap are compared to the competition.
The UK price has been agreed with our US partners and was very close to their original CCP6-US retail price of $299.
We feel that CCP6-UK offers great value for money for customers in the UK with the additional UK only features.

I must disagree with Howard on this point; compared to the main competition which is the international version of CCP6 the price is not at all competitive.

Im back at considering CCP and was looking for same answer and with the USA version being $199.99 the UK version being £198.99 that is nearly double the price and is quite shocking!
What are the differences between the two please? This needs to be good for me to consider spending out that kind of money when the like of CS-Cart and CubeCart are considerably cheaper.

Thank you but not enough to warrant nearly double the price. Thanks anyway.

Good old rip off Britain ![]()
I must say that I was a bit put out to say the least when I noticed the price difference but unfortunately it was after I had purchased it
Regardless of what country it is aimed at I would have expected the prices to be equal, after all the same development must have gone into each
Que cera cera
One thing that does need looking at though (and this is not criticism) is if something is to be aimed at a specific country's market then it should hold 'local' terminology
'Checks' are not used in the UK, whereas 'Cheques' are
and 'Baskets' are the English equivalent of the US 'Cart'

and there is lots more
sorry

I keep coming back to see if the developers are listening to the potential customers but sadly it seems not ![]()

I must admit, being the one who started this thread, I felt us in the UK were being ripped off.
However, after almost 1 year and 3 webistes running CCP6 I am grateful I bit the bullet and purchased CCP6. The initial investment has paled into insignificance against the success of the websites running CCP6.
The support online from the regulars has been superb. I am constantly being surprised how flexible it is and features I have looked to be added, I have received support to accomplomish these.
The price difference between the US version and the UK version is mirrored in all sorts of ways such as electronic goods and machinery.
I for one, am truly grateful I purchased CCP6 and no longer offer my customers anything else due to it's reliability, speed and flexibility.
Keep up the good work.

I agree with 121NetDesign - also, most times we can pass the price on to our customers - whilst there are niggly and sometimes major problems this online support is superb and beats most others
