Prevent auto log-in to Front End when logged in to Admin?

When I log in to my CCP Admin, I am automatically logged in as a user on the Store site. While I am working in the Admin, I want to be able to view my Store in another browser window as a guest, not a user. Is there any way to prevent the front end auto-login when logging in to the Admin?

IE7 is my default browser; would it be a setting I could change in my Internet Options for IE?

Thanks,
Cyndi

You need to use a different browser to view each side. Once a cookie is set for IE (in this case) for the admin side and just open another window the cookie is read as current and thus you are logged in on the customer side. If you use a different browser altogether then there is no cookie set in it's files and you will see the site as a different or new user.

Yes, that's what I'm doing right now. I'm using FF to view the Store site and IE to work in the Admin. It's not a great solution because I am making lots of changes to the cart, and I want to be able to view each change in IE AND in FF on the fly with each minor change.

call me disappointed.... sad
