Hello,
I've developed a mod that changes CCP to send HTML-formatted order confirmations (internal confirmation and customer confirmation) that look more professional and are easier for you and your customers to read
You can add your own graphics and/or color scheme using the provided template that works with the existing CCP "Manage Mail Elements" functionality.
More info and samples of how the format looks are available .
Thanks!

Can I:
1. See how product options are presented in these html emails please?
2. See what the shipper email version looks like?

ATS you are doing a great job as always.
only one comment. many email programs are designed to block html emails that contains 'Lazy Html'
I am using pegasus and even amazon and paypal html emails are blocked from security reasons.
does your mode support both html and text?

Hello,
Thanks for the questions.
1. Regarding the display of product options:
I've tried to make them as readable as possible. The font, background colors, and other formatting can be changed through the style tags that come with the mod.
See (just added).
2. Regarding the shipper email:
I went ahead and added the shipper email to the mod.
See .
3. Regarding "lazy html" and spam blockers.
The mod doesn't allow both text and HTML versions of the message to be sent. My opinion is that the Internet has come far enough that nearly all customers can receive HTML email, so long as spam filters don't block the message.
"Lazy HTML" is when outside images or other content are used in an email by linking to the image on a web server (rather than including the image as part of the email data). My mod doesn't use any outside images, so that would not be a problem. Amazon and Paypal do use outside images (hosted on their servers) in their email messages which is why you see those being blocked by that rule at Pegasus.
To my knowledge, there is nothing about the HTML messages that should raise red flags for the spam blockers. They are still clean, relatively simple messages. I can't guarantee they will all get through, but the same applies to the text-format order confirmations.
Thanks again for the questions, and thanks to those who have already purchased this mod and have helped get the kinks out!

Guys, I purchased this mod from ATS and it works wonderfully. Mark even helped me out and got the gift cert mod working with html emails too.
It is a must have.

ATS,
in the shipper email.....
1. Will product options be displayed nicely like the other email sample?
2. I don't believe in the current "shipper email" that any order pricing, product pricing or anything of that sort is in the shipper email so your shipper doesnt see the prices you are charging.
3. Can the shipper email, or any of them for that matter, be easily edited to add additional html formatted text, links, pictures, etc below all the rest? For instance in the shipper email I have my ups and fedex shipper numbers, plus a request for an email reply from the shipper to verify they have received the order, etc?
In the customer email....
1. Then in the customer email you could include formatted code to products, specials, pictures, whatever, to promote more items to your customers at the bottom below everything else. "Thanks for your order! Click this link to pickup a discount code for 10 % off your next order if order is placed within 30 days" or a picture and link to a product on special. The options of marketing are endless in the confirmation email sent to the customer.
This opens up a whole new world.

Hey Blade,
Sorry I didn't reply sooner. My email notifications from the forum don't seem to be getting through (I'll have to check on that).
Yes, the shipper email will be formatted the same as the customer and internal emails in terms of options being displayed.
You're right that the prices, etc. don't show in the shipper email (with or without the HTML Emails mod).
Yes, you can edit the HTML Emails using the admin area -> HTML Pages & Elements -> Manage Mail Elements template editor that exists in CCP. Some parts of the HTML are produced by the code (product rows, etc) and wouldn't be as easy to edit but as far as changing styles, colors, adding marketing, etc. that's possible just by adding HTML to the new mail elements that come with the mod.
