Any Recommendations On Payment Processors?

Whilst browsing around this forum I spotted a few gripes with credit card processors.  To that end, can anybody recommend the best firm to use with the best value and ease of use?

it was fast, inexpensive, and flawless.

Re: Any Recommendations On Payment Processors?

I forgot to mention, that CCP is already set to use them, and you can also enetr the card info manually and you get the money transfered to your bank account every 2 days and there is NO hold.

again, best of luck.

Re: Any Recommendations On Payment Processors?

Hello Dave, I took a peek.  However, this service is geared for the US market.  I am in SE Asia, do you have any international links?

regards,

Have you tried the link in my sig line?
They are easy to join and setup, and CCP is set to accept them.

Re: Any Recommendations On Payment Processors?

Dave, I was reading a thread regarding cc processing.  You don't have a sig, what's your site?

Btw, I'm used to using an offsite shopping cart.  I use internetsecure.com, a third party processor (been using them for 5 years on my main site that'll get ccp when I'm comfortable with it on this new site of mine).  Since I won't be collecting cc info on my cart, i won't need a ssl cert right?  I'm thinking it'd be a waste of money and unecessary?

Thanks,

James...

Re: Any Recommendations On Payment Processors?

yeh, i see many repsonses that CCP is set to handle them. however, as you can see from some of my previous posts regarding the ease of setup.
i went for linkpoint from SAM's club. CCP is supposed to handle them also.

well, i'm on my third day of trying to set the correct parameters (which much help from the forum, and not much direct help from the program). and i'm still not setup.
BTW: i've been using CCP for over 4 years to send me the card numbers direct. this is the first time i'm trying a processor integrated with CCP,and am so far quite unhappy with the way the install and setup is running (or not running).
i'm about ready to change to a different ordering software.

Re: Any Recommendations On Payment Processors?

If you have a couple hours to do a thourough search through the forum, you will find that 99% of the problems getting LinkPoint to work on your site is either related to a problem with the cURL installation on the server, or it is a problem created by the installer not following the directions in the software manual to the letter.  I have never seen a problem with the CCP software itself.  If you are having problems getting LinkPoint to work with CCP, you will have the same problem getting it to work with some other shopping cart software.

My advice is to go back through the manual and follow the instructions step by step.  If you have already done that, do it again, then call a server tech to have him check your cURL installation on the server to make sure that it is installed correctly and working properly.

Good luck and I hope that this helps point you in the right direction.
