I cannot generate the activitation email for affiliates.

For the new account, I set the status to 'active' and ensure the Welcome Message Generated field is set to 'no'. I select 'Generate Activiation Message' menu option and I am offered the new account in the drop down, I select this and submit. CCP thinks it has sent it, but it does'nt. All other ccp emails are generated OK, so I have ruled out an email problem.

Any thoughts ?

OK, I have looked at this further.

My test version of CCP on my local PC does send the emails, but the live hosted version does'nt. Since all the other emails are working correctly (contact us, orders etc) I am left wondering is there something unusual about the affiliate activation email message that my mail server is having problems with ???

I think it may be a problem with the email address the affiliate entered. Does it look correct?

Have solved this problem.

Despite what the manual says, my hosting company told me I needed to set the STMP Mail Server Name to:

www11.redstation.co.uk

None has been able to explain why some emails were being processed before I made this change.

fixed... but any ways dropping the affiliate program with click cart pro!..
