Error 500

I have had this program on another server, and had it up and running
properly. I recently switched servers and I am recieving this:

Error 500
The URL that you requested, resulted in a server configuration error.

What I have done to resolve:

Reinstalled all files.
set permissions to 777 ASCII for all data files except tables.
data/tables were set 777 Binary.
All media files set 777 Binary.
set permissions to 755 ASCII for all CGI-BIN files.

The really strange part:

I can go to and log-in to my Admin site, no problem.
I can naviagte around my Admin site, no errors.

The problem link:

or   it redirects.

My server:

Linux/Appache 1.3.29

Re: Error 500

I would probably double check all my path and url settings in the cp-app.cgi to make sure they are matching the new server.  I would also double check my permissions... even though you have set them already.  I had a very similar problem when trying to set permissions... and it turned out to be my ftp software was acting a little weird in changing permissions.  I used another ftp program to change permissions.. and it worked fine.

there's more than one way to...
